The ceremony for the second annual OYCF-Yihong Xia Best Paper Award was held at the 2007 China International Conference in Finance in Chengdu, China on July 10. Two papers were selected for the award ($1,000 for each):
"Herding, information aggregation and momentum effects," by Dr. Pengjie GAO (Ph.D., Northwestern; Assistant Professor, Notre Dame);
"The difference of portfolio allocation between state-owned banks and joint-equity banks in China ," by Prof. Chunxin JIA (Guanghua School of Management at Peking University).
This award is funded by the OYCF-Yihong Xia Memorial Fund, established in 2005 in memory of Dr. Yihong Xia. The Fund is used to promote academic research in the area of finance in China and among Chinese.
