Overseas Young Chinese Forum (OYCF), with the support of a private donor,
is pleased to announce that it is adding a new fellowship, the OYCF

The new fellowship will support one person during the 2002-2003 academic
year for short term teaching in China in the field of education. The amount
of grant will be around $2,250, and the minimum length of teaching required
is 3 weeks (18 hours). The application procedure and selection criteria are the same as those of the existing OYCF Teaching Fellowships, except that the deadline for applying for this new fellowship is August 31, 2002. Please refer to http://www.oycf.org/Teach/fellowship.htm for details on qualification, application procedure and selection criteria (Please note that the application deadline for other eight fellowhips has been extended to June 20, 2002). Preferences will be given to applications focusing on one or several of the following areas of education: international educational administration and policy analysis, curriculum studies and teacher education, learning sciences and technology design, and other educational methodologies/theories/practices that the Chinese education system and Chinese educators may learn from the U.S. and/or other developed countries. We cordially invite you to take this great opportunity and submit applications before the deadline. We would also appreciate it if you can forward this information to those who may be potential applicants.
