OYCF Teaching Fellowship Program in Academic Year 2002-2003

In January 2002, the Ford Foundation agreed to make a three-year grant to support OYCF's teaching program in law, humanities and social sciences in China. In February 2002, partners of Jun He Law Offices, a prominent law firm in China, also approved a grant to OYCF's teaching program. Several distinguished individuals have also made donations to OYCF's teaching program. Jiping Zhang and Jie Lan, both practicing attorneys in Hong Kong; Zack Liu and Jianxin Li, both bankers in Hong Kong; Junling Ma, a practicing attorney in California; and an anonymous private donor, a practicing attorney in New York, have all made generous donations to OYCF's teaching program. With the generous support from the above institutions and individuals, OYCF launched her OYCF Teaching Fellowship Program.

In the academic year of 2002-2003, nine teaching fellowships were awarded. Among them, six trips were successfully fulfilled by our devoted teaching fellows on time.
