OYCF Teaching Fellowship Program in Academic Year 2003-2004

As the OYCF Teaching Fellowship moved onto the second year, we received generous donation from Jingjun Cao, an engineer in Silicon Valley and founder of Stanford Education Foundation, to set up two OYCF - J. J. Cao fellowships for this year. In addition, the Ford Foundation and Zack Liu and Jianxin Li continued their financial support to the program.

We received seventeen high quality applications (with a total of eighteen (co-)applicants) coming from the U.S., Australia, Hong Kong, and U.K., and the applicants include Ph.D. students, established scholars and accomplished professionals. Thanks to eleven anonymous referees’ careful review and evaluation, seven teaching fellowships were awarded to the eight (co-)applicants.
