OYCF held its 10th annual meeting on May 23-25, 2008 at Menlo College, California.
The meeting's theme is on “ Globalization and Nationalism across the Taiwan Strait,” and OYCF co-sponsored the event with two renowned institutions, the Center for East Asian
Studies, Stanford University and the Center for China-US Cooperation, University of Denver. Our friends at Stanford ChinaRains, OYCF's sister organization, took care of the logistics of the meeting as host. As usual, the panel presentations ignited heated discussions. We had a great turn-out at the meeting -- more than 60 scholars, graduate students and professionals joined us.
